Just Do It! Signing Only Package
You and your partner have decided to make it official. You obtained a marriage license and need a licensed officiant to sign the forms and complete the legal paperwork. I charge $250 for this service including HST and mileage within the GTA. Note that you can get your license in any municipality within the province to get married within Ontario.
The Works! Wedding Package
We can adapt this package to best suit your needs! My fee for a wedding ceremony is $350 including HST and mileage within the GTA on Monday through Friday. I charge $400 on weekends, again incl. tax and mileage.
I look forward to meeting with you. Services for the Wedding Package often include the following:
A meeting months or weeks before the service to plan the ceremony. We can do this on Zoom or in person to discuss the details exactly as you like it.
A get-together about a week or so before the wedding day to fine-tune as needed.
Facilitating the ceremony itself, including the delivery of a short speech or message if desired. I have worked with couples from many different cultural backgrounds to include special rituals and traditions which we can discuss in detail prior to the event.
Taking care your marriage license is signed and mailed to the government so you are legally married!
Most couples don’t think it is necessary for me to be at a rehearsal. However, if you or your wedding planner prefer me to attend a rehearsal in person, I’m happy to do so. I charge an additional $250 fee, including mileage within the GTA.
Other expenses
You need to obtain a marriage license in any municipality in the province of Ontario to get married in the province of Ontario. Different municipalities charge different fees, but count on around $125 to $175. Learn how in Toronto.
I may charge mileage for travel outside the Greater Toronto Area. I conduct weddings in Toronto, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Markham, Richmond Hill, Ajax and other locations in the GTA without charging mileage.
